Beyond her legal practice, Ia Modin is an active public figure both nationally and internationally, with strong engagement in issues concerning European competitiveness, innovation policy, and the strategic importance of intellectual assets and their operational challenges. Ia Modin currently serves as President of LES Scandinavia, the Nordic chapter of the Licensing Executives Society (LESI), and is the Co-Chair of its CEEM Committee (Chemicals Energy Environment Materials).
